Werte Rundschau!
Da so viele sich an dich wenden mit der Bitte, Freunde aufzusuchen, und Berichte  aufzunehmen, so will ich es auch versuchen.  Ich möchte gerne wissen, wo sich mein Bruder Franz Jacob Löwen aufhält, früher wohnhaft in Russland in Fürstenau. Nach Amerika gezogen, dann zurück gekommen und jetzt wieder in Amerika wohnend. Wenn du lieber Bruder diese Zeilen liest, dann erinnere dich an deinen Bruder Aron Jakob Löwen.  Gegenwärtig wohne ich in Sibirien.  Uns geht es hier sehr schlecht, möchte auch, wenn Ihr es möglich machen könnt, nach Amerika, oder wenn das nicht geht, eine kleine Spende von Euch dankend entgegen nehmen, denn wir haben nichts mehr.  Meine Familie ist: Ich, meine Frau, und vier Kinder. Meine erste Frau war eine Kornelius Görzens Tochter, Aganetha von Fürstenwerder.  Sollten noch Freunde von ihr leben, so möchte ich mit Ihnen in Briefwechsel treten, wenn sie es wünschen. Meine zweite Frau ist die Tochter von Bernhard Peter Schellenberg, früher gewohnt auf Igantjewo, Romanowka.  Ihre Mutter ist eine Anna David Penner von Blumengard.

  1. A previous letter by Kornelius Görzen (1863-1915) #988803 dated 7 Jun 1911 indicates that his sister, Aganetha was involved with an Aron Löwen from Furstenau.  They lived in Siberia at the time.   Kornelius Görzen  #52040 of Fürstenwerder is her father.
