Tschorne Osero, den 11 Jan 1909.  Lieber Freund und Editor Fast!  Die Gnade unseres herrn Jesu Christi sei mit uns allen.  Weil wir gedenken, so es Gottes Wille ist, ungefähr den 20 Februar dieses Jahres von hier abzufahren nach Barnaul und wir uns dieser Reise sehr schwach sühlen, so möchten wir Sie, lieber Freund Fast, noch einmal recht herzlich bitten um hilfe.  Vielleicht sind da noch Freunde, die da willig uns zu helfen.  Meiner Frau Onkel, Heinrich Görzen, sie sind von Pragenau nach Amerika gezogen; da sind auch noch Willems, Franz Görzen und David Görzen, meiner Frau Vetter.  Meine Frau ist ein geborene Görzen von Fürstenwerder; sie ist nicht sehr gesund; sie hat noch immer einen schweren huften und leidet an Lungenentzündung.  Da sind noch Adrians, welche, meine Vetter sind; ihre Eltern hiessen Peter Adrians, meiner Mutter Bruder von Fürstenwerder.  Liebe Vetter, vielleicht habt Ihr auch etwas für uns übrig denn wir können hier in Orenburg nicht langer bleiben, wir haben hier nicht unser Brot, wir wollen noch einmal weiterziehen, darum bitten wir, habt Erbarmen über uns Arme.  Der herr wird es Euch belohnen.
